This report reveals that many organisations treat diversity and inclusion as a superficial box-ticking exercise rather than a route to meaningful change. Based on interviews with people in senior roles, it finds that EDI is often disconnected from strategy and dominated by symbolic gestures and makes the case for refocusing inclusion on genuine respect, evidence-based action, and alignment with organisational goals.
